Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts is inviting applications for the position of Chair for the Department of Art for Fall 2012. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching and professional/artistic/scholarly work as well as demonstrated leadership ability. The Department Chair will have the opportunity to shape and implement the vision of the department in all aspects of teaching, research, and service on a local, national, and international level and will guide and advocate for faculty and students.
